Looking for a new car? Think Nissan!
Nissan Maxima: The Maxima is a slick and stylish sports sedan from Nissans 2011 range. It starts at around £25,000 but you get a lot of bang for your buck. This is the perfect car for the standard 2.2 family. It even has a great engine to ensure that you keep that great sporty feeling even when just dropping off the kids to school. This is all thanks to the 3.5litre V6 engine that's nestled away under the hood. Fully independent suspension also makes driving this car as smooth as silk and thanks to all of the cool electronics and air con it is a real pleasure to take the Maxima out on the streets. Check it out for yourself on the Buy Your Car website. Nissan Versa: The Nissan Versa is another top quality sedan again suited for a family. This car can be picked up for a much more reasonable £7,000 but you will of course be only getting the base model. With the Maxima there was a tonne of features tacked on but with this, it's pretty stripped out. Of course you will have your air con and stereo but you wont have all the modern things like sat nav included in this price. This doesn't really matter if you are just looking for a decent mid range car at a low price. It runs on a 1.6litre petrol engine which will pump out a respectable 108bhp at 6000rpm and 107lb ft of torque at 4400rpm. This car is definitely worth a look if you are on the market for a family vehicle at low cost. For even more information on this fantastic vehicle see what Auto Car had to say. Nissan Leaf: If you are done with petrol and really want to reduce your carbon footprint the Nissan Leaf is Nissan's first 100% electric car. Most journeys in the UK on average are less than 25 miles, good news for the Leaf as it can manage 80-100 miles on a fully charged battery! It uses a large amount of lithium iron batteries to pump out a decent 90 mile an hour top speed. Good news for Europeans too, thanks to our standard voltage the Leaf can be fully charge in only 8 hours, much better than the 16 hours it takes in The States. Again this vehicle is a little on the expensive side at £25,00 but we are talking zero emissions and no applicable road tax. See what the Nissan Leaf Owners Club have to say about this amazing machine.
